Everyday things… (Sweden II)

Gotta be honest with you. I wasn’t really sure what to blog about since I have no idea what you guys are interested in. Therefore, I asked a friend of mine, Janne (hello to my sister from another mister in Bergen / Norway) what she would like to see. Turns out she likes pictures and just everyday things – like me. But by just talking to her I got an idea and was inspired. Since my bachelor’s work was about the three cities I live(d) in, I’ll post some pictures and tell you a little something about them (Malmö, Zurich and Belgrade).

On my last post about Sweden, people reacted in different ways. All in all, it was not my intention to hurt anyone’s feelings, nor did I want to say “only bad stuff” about Swedish people. I simply picked things out that I observed based on my own experience. It was supposed to be funny and nothing else. Every nation has its “things” and so do Swedish people – we should only be open minded and learn to laugh about ourselves. I do too, believe me. 😉

Malmö is a lovely city, it has beaches, parks, cafés, bars, restaurants from all parts of the world, Scandinavian architecture – seriously everyone can find a piece of home here. Also, Copenhagen is reachable over the beautiful Öresundsbron (bridge). I’ve been a big fan of Sweden and the Scandinavian countries, and you should definitely visit it some day.
Swedish people are very tourist-friendly, and hell, they know how to party (hello to Anders). Whether  it’s a house party or clubbing, if a Swede is with you – it will never be boring. Oh and the girls are super pretty up here. Blond, tall, very fashionable – that can only be a Scandinavian girl.

Some everyday things from Malmö…

Barista – a lovely café here in Malmö. My boyfriend on the left, Robin on the right

Kanelbulle – a religion after coffee

Uhm, I’ll just call them stairs. A lovely place for warmer days.
